Battlestars Announces Completion of Multiple Acquisitions
Battlestars [BTLS], a premier 0.0 Security corporation, announced today the successful completionof secret negotiations with the leadership of three powerful Jeon regional corporations.
The corporations (Freedom Guard, Aegis Incorporated and Parabird Industries) have
already moved significant assets into the 0-W system via covert convoys and other classified methods.
This merger will result in a significant increase (estimated to be over 60%)
in capabilities for the Company’s main lines of business: System Security and Space Ship Production.
When asked if further acquisitions were planned, CEO DREDD remarked "That would be telling"
Battlestars Announces a Reorganization
In light of their recent rapid growth, the Board of Directors of Battlestars [BTLS] hasannounced a reorganization of the corporation. “The change to a division structure will
help us better manage resources of our rapidly expanding Corporation.” said Director Halsey.
“Not only will current pilots know where there fellow mates are, they can quickly find out what other
Corp mates are doing and join in.” The director also mentioned the structure will help
assure that new pilots will not get “lost” in the corporation. “Pilots new to Battlestars
and 0.0 space need mentors to explain the rules of engagement and tactics. Learning these from
their division members, we feel, is the best way." The final division names and
membership rosters are expected to be announced soon.
Battlestars Announces Entrance to the Rig Market
In a recent press conference, Battlestars [BTLS] revealed the corporation has finished buildingthe infrastructure needed for its entrance to the Ship Rigs market. “This initiative will
not only make our pilots more deadly, but produce revenue of its own,” a customer service
representative noted, “Our pilots collect a constant stream of salvage during their daily operations.
This system will collect all those resources in one place and match pilot needs with what’s available.”
A key advantage to the system is that pilots need not wait until they “collect a whole set” of
salvage items for a specific rig. By pooling and, when necessary, buying parts off the salvage
market, more rigs will be completed which will enhance Battlestar’s System Security forces.
